Statement of Beliefs
I’ve been in the process of figuring out what I believe. This is what I’ve come up with so far. I will eventually be putting up scriptures to show support for each of my statements. I would enjoy your comments, please keep all negative comments scriptural; if you can’t back it up with the Bible don’t say it.

- I believe that there is One GOD, whose name was spoken to Moses as “the LORD” Adonai or YHVH. No man has seen the Father, he fills all of the heavens and all of the earth, and his presence is made known by his spirit (”the breath of GOD or WORD”). Salvation comes from our Father.
- I believe and trust in Yeshua who is and was anointed to be the eternal King for GOD’s kingdom with him GOD’s spirit dwells. Yeshua was the Son sacrifice that GOD promised to Abraham and his descendants. He was the first risen. Yeshua will be the lamp and GOD will be his light. Yeshua preached the coming of GOD’s kingdom, a new heaven and new earth. See Isaiah 65:17-25 for an interesting description of this.
- The LORD spoke through his anointed son Yeshua (”our Lord”), the prophets and the angels of the LORD by the power of the Holy Spirit (”his Breath, aka the WORD”).
- The message taught by Yeshua was simple:
- Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, mind, and soul.
- Love one another as you would love yourself; help those in need.
- His plan was set from the beginning and this plan was his Message. The Message was that GOD so loved the world that he would give his one and only Son so that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. Yeshua would be a man begotten by the Spirit (”breath”) of God in the virgin Mary, but given all power on heaven and earth from the Father. Although being equal in power, he did not see himself equal to the Father, the LORD GOD.
- The Bible in it’s truest form is the word of GOD and all truth should be measured by it. Man has polluted it’s teachings with their own doctrines and creeds.
- Yeshua did not come to abolish the Laws (within the TANAKH) given by GOD, but to fulfill the Law; We are to still honor the Ten Commandments (paraphrased for today):
- You must not have any other gods except the One true GOD whose name is, “the LORD;” Follow the lord your GOD with all your heart, mind, and soul.
- You must not make for yourselves an idol that looks like anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the water below the land. (This includes money and other worldly pleasures). An idol is anything that you put before GOD that causes you to deviate from following GOD’s will or teachings.
- You must not use the name of the LORD your GOD thoughtlessly or carelessly.
- Remember to keep the Sabbath (”Saturday”) holy. Work and get everything done during six days each week, but the seventh day is a day of rest to honor the LORD your GOD. Yeshua did not see this as an excuse for helping others; living humbly and being kind to those in need is greater than any sacrifice that one can give to GOD. When you give or help those in need, do it for GOD’s glory, as they will see your good deeds and praise GOD in heaven; praise should be given to the Father. When you show love to the least of GOD’s people, you are honoring him; GOD receives his glory through your acts of kindness.
- Honor your father and your mother so that you can live peacefully with them.
- You must not murder anyone.
- You must not be guilty of adultery.
- You must not steal.
- You must not tell lies about your neighbor.
- You must not want to take your neighbor’s house, spouse, or any of his or her possessions.
- Although through Christ, the Messiah, we shall be saved, we will still be held accountable for our actions.
- Christ being a man through the spirit was made perfect, to be a role model of how we should live; we the followers of Christ through the spirit should strive to obtain the prize of salvation and live our lives like Christ.
- Our bodies are the temple; the purpose of the Church is to help the needy and spread the Good News.
- As brothers in Christ we should give from our abundance out of the gladness of our hearts to our fellow brothers who are in need, so that when we are in need they too will also give from their abundance so that we may all equal.
- We should not live by the creeds of man, but by the Words of GOD spoken through the Bible.
GOD BLESS
